ARSOME TECHNOLOGY GROUP ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF ARSOME HEALTH (ARx)

(CONNECTICUT – January 15, 2020) - ARSOME Technology Group, LLC., a trailblazer in immersive technology development, formally announces the launch of ARSOME Health, LLC. and its augmented reality platform, ARx, after a successful round of SEED funding.

ARx provides personalized health information to patients triggered by physical objects, like prescription bottles and lab reports. Patients are immediately informed of warnings, contraindications, and other sensitive information with engaging augmented reality content.

“Nearly Forty percent of Americans have poor health literacy, costing the US about $200 billion annually,” said Benjamin D. Improving health literacy is a top priority for us. ARx will give patients the opportunity to obtain, process, and understand basic health information and services needed to make appropriate health decisions.”

Partnering with ARSOME Technology on this one-of-a-kind technology is Clifford Schorer, Co-Director of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship program at Columbia University. “What attracted me to ARx was how this technology effectively bridges a serious knowledge-gap between healthcare providers, pharmaceuticals, genetic firms and patients,” said Schorer. He adds, “I wanted to be a part of this because I was so impressed with the devotion, responsiveness and high-level expertise and proficiency demonstrated by Ben and David,” (Founders of ARSOME Technology).

Health literacy affects people of all demographics and socio-economic-status. ARx offers an integrated solution for companies, patients, caregivers and doctors across North America. By introducing educational videos, 3D animated models and immersive tours of lab and medicinal reports, ARx engages, educates and empowers patients to take control of their health. In addition, ARx provides historical analyses, health predictors, and treatments to better inform patients.

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, “there are numerous factors that impact health literacy including the patient’s receipt of appropriate written health communication materials, the patient’s ability to accurately interpret written health-related information and their opportunity for meaningful communication with providers.
